- ESRI JavaScript API
- This API was used to integrate mapping and map layers into the application. The API uses DOJO javascript framework to perform dynamic queries against what is displayed on the map and for the list for viewing displayed points.
- jQuery Mobile
- The jQuery Mobile framework was used to create this web page. This mobile framework works on a wide variety of phones and tablets which makes for a common user experience of this application. This is not a final version of the framework and there are still a couple of performance issues when trying to list and bind a lot of items in a list. Filtering a large list also seems to be a bit slow.
- Add to Homescreen
- A javascript and CSS scripts provided by Matteo Spinelli, http://cubiq.org. This creates a popup on the iPhone and iPad that lets the user know that they can add the web application to the home screen and it will have a much more native look and feel on these devices. It will still run fine in a browser too...
- Glyphish
- Some of the icons used in this application were provided by Glyphish at http://glyphish.com
